Case Study: The Quaker Cookbook

The Quaker Cook Book was published for PepsiCo India. The book consists of 35 recipes on usage of oats. The book was wrapped around Quaker Box and was given free of cost with Quaker Oats Box.

Objective:

The motive was to increase the usage of oats in India by finding different ways to use the product. The contributors to the recipe books are Natasha Minocha, Nita Mehta, Smita Srivastava and the Institute of Home Economics.

Client’s requirement:

To increase the intake of oats so that there is an increased demand for the product.

Solutions provided:

  • Along with the buy-back by PepsiCo, the title was made available through all the distribution channels—online (Amazon India, Flipkart) as well as offline (retailers like Crossword, OM Bookstore, and WH Smith).
  • The title was also featured in our collection at the World Book Fair in Delhi, Jaipur and Kolkata. These events have high footfalls and, therefore, expose the brand to many people.
