Reena Ittyerah Puri

Reena Ittyerah Puri is the Executive Editor at Amar Chitra Katha. Her passion for comics led her to effortlessly dive into the captivating world of scripting cartoons and comics. With Anant Pai—the Founder Editor of Amar Chitra Katha—as her mentor, Reena was drawn into a vibrant realm of storytelling, illustrations, colour and laughter, a world she has embraced wholeheartedly and has never sought to escape.


Illustrator Bio: Savio Mascarenhas is the Group Art Director at Amar Chitra Katha and the co-creator of many beloved characters from Tinkle, including Little Shambu. He has illustrated the adventures of Shikari Shambu for over twenty-four years. As a TEDx speaker, he shares insights on the role of visuals in learning. When he’s not at his workstation, Savio enjoys conducting comic-making workshops for both children and adults, spreading his passion for comics.
