Ravi Subramanian

Ravi Subramanian, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore, has spent two decades working his way up the ladder of power in the amazingly exciting and adrenaline-pumping world of global banks in India. It is but natural that his stories are set against the backdrop of the financial services industry. He lives in Mumbai with his wife, Dharini, and daughter, Anusha. In 2008, his debut novel, If God Was a Banker, won the Golden Quill Readers' Choice Award. The Incredible Banker won him the Economist Crossword Book Award in 2012. His most recent novel is Bankerupt.

Shoma Narayanan

Shoma Narayanan was an only child and grew up in a house full of books. While she spent every spare minute reading, she never thought of becoming a writer—she wanted to be a teacher, just like her parents. As it happened, after getting an engineering degree and an MBA, she ended up working in a bank instead. A few years ago, she took up writing as a hobby and was soon published. Her books have been translated into more than ten languages, including French, Italian, German and Hindi.
