Suraj Yengde is a non-resident fellow with the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute at the Hutchins Center, Harvard, and an associate with the Department of African and African American Studies, Harvard University. His articles have featured in Social Transformations: Journal of the Global South, Economic and Political Weekly, African Studies Quarterly, along with opinions in leading newsmagazines, Huffington Post, The Root, the Indian Express, the Conversation, the Mexican Times, Globe & Post, and Mail & Guardian. He is a young Dalit academic-activist involved in the Dalit diaspora movement. His forthcoming writings feature in South Asia, South African Historical Journal.
