Syed Anwar Ali

Dr Syed Anwar Ali is Assistant Professor in the English Department of the College of Applied Studies and Community Service, King Saud University, Riyadh. He was awarded an MPhil (English language) and PhD (English) by the University of Rajasthan. His area of research is translation and translation studies. His previous translation, The Passion Lost; the Beauty Lost, was published in 2014. He also published a collection of short stories titled, Krishan Chander: An English Rendering. His vast teaching experience includes a decade of teaching at Al-Fateh University, Tripoli, Libya, and sixteen years at King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA. He also taught at some government colleges in Rajasthan, India, before moving to Libya.
