Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President – Operations & Technology
Amit Abrol leads the Finance, Operations, Technology, Administration, and Supply Chain functions at Penguin Random House India. With a career spanning about 30 years of which 25 years have been in Publishing and Media sector, Amit brings extensive experience in financial strategy, operations management, and business transformation.
Before joining Penguin, Amit served as Executive Director – CFO Advisory Services at Grant Thornton and has held senior leadership roles at HarperCollins India, Hachette India, Parragon Publishing, and Sage Publications. His expertise lies in financial planning and leadership, supply chain optimisation, digital operations, and stakeholder management.
Amit is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Delhi. He also attended a senior executive leadership programme at IIM Ahmedabad. Known for his collaborative leadership style and strategic foresight, he plays a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting Penguin India’s long-term growth.
